Libraries, quick strolls, shell breaking, 5 months and iPad
These past couple of weeks have been pretty mellow.
Although the weather has been pretty mild (not overwhelmingly cold), there has been a lot of wetness and strolling around with 2 girls in that weather is never fun. Our outings mainly consist of going to the places that are close: Libraries and the Co-op.
Pic. 1: Last week we went to a library that is very close to us that we haven’t been to in a while, and Hunter had a great time. Although it’s small, she still had a good time. Mae has been growing a lot so she’s no longer “just sleeping.” She often wakes up wherever we go and is engaged with everything that’s going on. She’s also started to find her lungs…a lot :)
Pic 2: We took a GIANT walk over to Target this week. On the way back both the girls fell asleep on their stroller. They really love it! Well, Hunter is not quite as comfortable as she could be, but it serves it’s purpose. I feel good that they are together. Hunter has started to reach out to Mae and hold her hand. That warms my heart :)
Pic 3: This week we went to the library that is the closest to us. Usually Hunter is REALLY shy. She often manifests this shyness by screaming ‘NO’ very loudly to anyone that approaches her in any way, especially if they speak to her. This is what she did the last time we went to our neighborhood library. This time it was not so. She actually went up to the librarians and started the conversation. She was in their face asking all sorts of questions. I was a bit shocked. She had such a good time. I took this picture of her that day. She did a lot of growing, and I was so proud.
Pic 4: Mama and Mae right before I nursed her before my Saturday yoga class. She looks so sweet and lovely doesn’t she? Well, right after she proceeded to start to bite that which provides the milk for her. Not cool. It turns out she wasn’t hungry. Nice. She turned 5 months old on that day. My lovely is growing up SO fast!
Pic 5: I GOT AN IPAD FOR MY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!! I’m still in shock. My friends and family got together and bought it for me! I’m seriously in shock. I’m not sure what to do with myself. All I can truly say is Thank You. All of you….and especially The Daddy Randy ♥
I’m writing this in the last 15 minutes before my birthday…as I’m getting ready to LEAVE MY 30s! So exciting :D
